Flashback Friday, Same Title, Different Song, is now a 3 Part Special

Hello Listeners,
You may have seen here in an earlier post, about a 2 part special I’d be doing, where I’d be featuring 2 or more songs, that shared a title in common, but that’s all they share. The artists, as well as the songs themselves, are entirely different, proving that great minds think alike, only when it comes to naming their songs. However, after compiling the playlists for these specials, I now see that it’s going to take 3 weeks to get through everything I was able to find in my library, and sadly, I had to eliminate some content, because I either, simply didn’t have room after compiling the playlists, or, I didn’t think of them until after compiling the lists. If I keep voice breaks short, maybe I’ll be able to squeeze them in, but if you listeners were hoping to hear your requests and dedications over the next 3 weeks, you’re sadly mistaken. I have a lot of material to cover, so unless I should cover for any other broadcasters, like I did for DJ Sassy on the evening of Wednesday, April 11, 2018, your requests you submit into me for Flashback Friday, will not be heard on the program, until the Friday following April 27, 2018, because at this time, here’s what the schedule looks like for my Same Title, Different Song Specials.

Part 1: Airing Friday, April 13, 2018.
Part 2: Airing Friday, April 20, 2018.
Part 3: Airing Friday, April 27, 2018.

All shows will be airing at their usual time slot, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM U.S. Eastern time, and I assure you, you’re going to hear a lot of awesome material, as even I was surprised by some of the songs that share the same titles when compiling this playlist, so it’s going to be a musical experience, for both, yours truly, and all of you listeners, will enjoy over the next 3 weeks, as I present to you all, what I like to call, this 3 part mini series.

While I won’t be taking requests, you can still get in touch with me, by using the following details.

NOTE: I will be taking your calls, and you will be heard on air, and while you can’t submit requests, if you’d like to help name off the playlist, and the listener in question shares a Dropbox folder with me, I can provide you with the playlist write ups, should you call into the show, and express an interest in helping me name off the tracks. If interested, either let me know when you call in, or get in touch with me privately, and we’ll work out arrangements.
And if you have me friended on Facebook, Whatsapp and HeyTell, I can be reached on those platforms as well.

To listen to the show, I find this m3u playlist link, to be the easiest means of tuning in. Just place it into your media player of choice. http://www.theqonline.net/stream.m3u

And if you have requests for shows post the conclusion of my Same Title, Different Song Mini Series, or should I cover for other broadcasters over the course of the remainder of April, then please hunt them up on my song search request page, at http://www.theqonline.net/djcelrock, and don’t forget to provide your email address, so I can respond and let you know when your request will be played. Chances are, you can expect to hear it on my first show in May, airing on Friday, May 4, 2018, unless I find I’ll be covering for somebody else before then and I’ve received your request, I’ll respond at that time so you can be sure to tune into the fillin broadcast.

With that said, I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow morning, for Part 1 of the Same Title, Different Song Mini Series Special, and as always, Happy Listening, to The Q Online, Internet radio with variety!

Regards,
DJ Celrock!

Flashback Friday, Same Title, Different Song 2 Part Special for 4/13 and 4/20, 2018!

Hello Listeners,
Are you familiar with the phrase, great minds think alike? Well, apparently, when coming up with titles for their songs, several artists, had the same idea! And what does this cause? 2, 3, and even in some cases, up to 4, and even 5 songs, with the same title, but the songs are completely different, and done by different artists! Of course, you won’t hear 4 or 5 songs in a row with the same title, I have managed to split up some of the content in between the 2 shows I’ll be doing, as when compiling the list, I compiled a list that would be way longer than one three hour broadcast, but you’ll be amazed, by how many songs you recognize that share titles, and how many songs that perhaps you don’t recognize, but that share a title with a song you know very well, and that’s done by an artist you know as well!

If you don’t know what I mean by what’s going on here, let’s take the title, The Power of Love. There’s a song by Celine Dionn that’s called, The Power of Love, and there’s one by Hewy Louis and the News, also called, The Power of Love. You’ve probably heard both of them, but you don’t think of one when you hear the other, because they’re entirely different songs, with only the title in common. But this is only one title, out of several titles that you’ll come to discover, in this 2-part special, that will take place on the weeks of April 13 and April 20, 2018.

Part 1 will air from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM U.S. Eastern Time on the morning of Friday, April 13, 2018, while Part 2, will air from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM U.S. Eastern Time on the morning of Friday, April 20, 2018. No requests will be taken, because these are more or less, set playlists, and chances are, once you tune in and see what’s going on, if you should think of any combinations that are Same Title, Different Songs, it’s probably already most likely in my playlist for one of the 2 shows.

If you want to get in touch, and make requests for my show coming up on April 27, which at this time, will be a regular show, here are the ways to find me.
